Loneliness Awareness Week

This week is #LonelinessAwarenessWeek!
Entering its 8th year, the week ran by Marmalade Trust aims to challenge the stigma around feelings of loneliness and help us all to connect with people.
Here are some ways you can help combat loneliness for yourself and others
- Get in touch with a Buddy call scheme or Befriending service such as Changing Lives.
- Attend local classes or community groups
- Volunteer your time. Local animal shelters and charity shops are often looking for support.
- Start a conversation with a stranger, or reconnect with friends.
- Speak to a professional or a mental health helpline.
