Job Description

Job Title: Tenancy Enforcement Officer (Permanent)
Hours: 37 hours per week (to be worked flexibly in line with business needs)
Salary: £38,189 per annum (Plus Regular User Mileage Allowance)
Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich. Working across various locations within Cheshire.

Flexibility to work from a variety of places including our office at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and home (dependent on the job role and the needs of our customer, our organisation and our teams)

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Tenancy Enforcement Officer, with a proven track record of dealing with complex Anti-Social Behaviour issues through to resolution? If so, read on…

What Will You Do?

The successful candidate will be joining an established high performing Tenancy Enforcement Team, with responsibility for managing a caseload of anti-social behaviour issues (including prevention and enforcement cases) through to resolution.  This includes preparing cases for legal work, drafting witness statements, and representing the Trust at court as and when required. 

The role will require you to be pro-active in your approach, with the ability to develop preventative strategies which evidences empathy to the diverse needs of our customers, whether they are subject to or perpetrators of anti-social behaviour. 

You will also be required to attend multi-agency meetings from time to time and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust and external agencies to support the needs of the business and the customer.

With proven communication skills, you will proactively address breaches of tenancy and work with customers to enable them to manage and sustain their tenancies.

Minimum Requirements For This Role*

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at C/4 above including Maths & English or demonstrable relevant experience
  • Experience of working with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
  • Experience of preparing legal documentation (notices, witness statements) for court.
  • Experience of working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience of dealing with vulnerable customers in a sensitive manner.

Due to the nature of the role, a full current driving license and access to a car is essential.  The role will also require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
